IMAGINATIVE | EXPLORATIVE | PASSIONATE

Creativity Led | Strategically Driven | Design Inspired

I believe that brands tell a story, and a good strategy can make the mundane story an epic. My part– I want to be the storyteller. I struck chords with creativity when I started working in the brand team at the corporate office of a jewelry conglomerate. I did marketing and communication, where I was ideating, conceptualizing, and executing new ideas. I did brand management, new brand development and all of that experience helped me understand brands and business.

The experience in branding and associated activities mutated my interest in communication design. I worked with MNCs across industries and became the bridge between HR, marketing, stakeholders, and the masses. The idea was not to create attractive content alone. With a very short stint with an agency in Mumbai, India, I realized that there was a space where brand’s voice was needed in the HR function. This led to the genesis of my ideas lab Yellow Creatives, with a niche gamut of services over and beyond design.  We led strategic campaigns, visual identity, digital and social media marketing, employer branding, creative marketing, communication design, HR engagement initiatives, etc. for top brands like Pepsico, Amazon, Glaxo Smith Kline, Pitney Bowes, to name a few.

With that experience, I realized, that while I have been learning on the job and all so well, it’s time to go back to school to take my marketing followed by communication experience further into branding to learn how to ground my design work into strategy.

I enrolled in MPS in branding at the School of Visual Arts, New York, to hone into strategic thinking towards brands with an interdisciplinary approach, exploring cultures, behaviors, and strategy. and give my experience this far, a direction, finesse, and polish.

My interests include my eye for elegance, both in wardrobe and palate. I want to be on a perennial jet leg by traveling around the world – first visit to explore, then revisit to see what has changed from then.
