Repositioning the American Dream through Immigration

For centuries, a large number of people from around the world have been docking on the American shores with little more than an armful of belongings and a heart full of hopes and dreams—the American Dream.

Immigrants are the DNA of the nation and have contributed towards building the America we now it to be. The history of immigration has that been of highs and lows, of hopes and fears. But what remain a constant was, that wether it was seen as good or bad, threat or opportunity, immigrants with their spirit contributed to the society, economy and culture. They are the visionaries, the hardworking unskilled agricultural workers and everyone in between, be the doctors, engineers, lawyers, nurses or nannies, and together they are essential to the very thread of the nation.

Our thesis, captured milestones of immigration through history to the current political sentiment which is anti immigration. Through extensive research, we arrived at the conclusion that problem with the American Dream and Immigration both, are relating to threat to Cultural identity, Security and Economy.

Backed by research and facts we rebuked various negative stereotypes that immigrants are associated with and in conclusion developed a case, to inspire all native born Americans to realize and celebrate their own immigrant heritage and to change the narrative of immigration from threat to opportunity, from 'them to us'.

We proposed starting a not for profit organization "United People of America" which would pioneer the cause of
raising awareness of the unique cultural heritage of the country by '100% American Campaign'
bringing all immigrants together under a movement called 'We the Brave' for awareness and advocacy, and
partnering with like-minded businesses to raise funds for the initiatives through Project United,

The vision is to embrace and celebrate that...
We are all Americans. We are all Immigrants.
